In 2019 Fairphone became the first electronics company to support suppliers with living wage bonuses. Since then they’ve supported over 6,200 people with $950.000 in living wage bonuses. That’s a month of extra salary per year for every worker we impacted.
But the point of Fairphone is to get the industry to change. So we challenged leaders of the tech industry to do the same with a Living Wage campaign.
